Rajasthan wildlife tour has been curated to make you experience two of the most well-known wildlife destinations in India- Ranthambore and Bharatpur.

Ranthambore is located in Sawai Madhopur District and is famous for being a habitat to Royal Bengal Tigers, while Bharatpur is famous for its migratory birds. Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Delhi - Jaipur (270 Km / appx. 5 hrs.)

Welcome to Delhi, the Capital City of India. Start your Rajasthan wildlife tour today and head towards Jaipur which is at a distance of 270 kilometres from Delhi.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

Spend a lovely evening at Chokhi Dhani. Your Rajasthan wildlife tour takes you to visit this unique Rajasthani experience where you get a chance to witness the real culture and traditions of the Rajasthan is. You can see the Bani Thani Art, Dipak Wall, The numerous wall decorations and experience the enthusiastic performances and exquisite costumes.

Chokhi Dhani is located away from the hustle bustle of the city. Strategically placed on the national highway, this place offers natural scenic views and peacefulness. The broad smiles and friendliness will make you feel welcome and homely in this getaway.

Enjoy a lovely dinner at Chokhi Dhani and head back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: City tour of Jaipur

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and head out to visit the numerous tourist spots in your Rajasthan wildlife tour.

Start your day with a visit to the City Palace of Jaipur which is believed to be the place where the Maharaja reigned from. The complex consists of various buildings such as the Mubarak Mahal and the Chandra Mahan.

Visit the Jantar Mantar which is the largest stone astronomical observatory world over. Built in 1727, it is functional until date.

Later head to the Hawa Mahal which is a signature building of this town located on the main road, Badi Chaupad. This magnificent structure was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh.

Head towards the JalMahal which is a stunning palace floating in the centre of the Sagar Lake.

Lastly, head to Sanganer and have a look at the famous handmade paper factories and handicrafts.

Day 3: Jaipur - Ranthambore (155 Km / appx. 4 hrs.)

Enjoy an early breakfast and head to Ranthambore situated at a distance of 155 kilometres.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

Head to the jungle safari which is reserved for you by Rajasthan wildlife tour in the 2 pm time slot. The safari would be 4 hours 30 minutes long. The safari takes place in the vehicles allotted by the wildlife reserve and the vehicles have to leave the park by 6.30 pm after following a fixed route assigned to them. You will spot different kinds of wildlife and maybe even be lucky enough to spot tigers on your safari.

Day 4: Ranthambore

Rajasthan wildlife tour has reserved another safari experience for you early in the morning. Your morning jungle safari commences at 6 am. This safari follows a different route as compared with the evening jungle safari. Come closer to nature and enjoy this wonderful experience. Your safari would end at 10.30 am.

Reach back to the hotel and freshen up.

Later spend your evening at the Ranthambore Fort. This fort which Rajasthan wildlife tour takes you to visit lies within the National Park premises, near the town of Sawai Madhopur. This fort holds a great historical significance and was a part of all the historical developments of Rajasthan. The Ranthambore Fort is well known for the triumphs of Hammir Dev of the Chauhan Dynasty. This splendid fort has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: Ranthambore - Bharatpur(240 Kms/ 6 Hrs approx.)

Head towards Bharatpur, which is at a distance of 240 kilometres from Ranthambore.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

Spend your evening at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary which is one of the finest bird parks in the world. Previously known as, Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the name is derived from the Hindu Temple, devoted to Lord Shiva which is based at the centre of the park. This sanctuary gives you a chance to see the regular birds as well as the migratory water birds.

This area was previously utilised for hunting by the Bharatpur Royalty and was considered to be one of the best duck shooting wetlands world over. However, hunting was barred from the mid 60’s. Bharatpur was later declared as a national park on 10thMarch, 1982. Further, it went on to become a World Heritage Site in December 1985.

Day 6: Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (260 Km / approx. 6 hrs.)

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and start your drive towards Agra which is at a distance of 260 kilometres.

En-route your Rajasthan wildlife tour halts at Fatehpur Sikri which is a small town founded in the 16th century. This splendid town is built entirely of red sandstone and building clustered at its centre.

Also, see the Buland Darwaza which is translated as the Gate of Magnificence. This was built by Akbar in 1601 A.D. to celebrate his victory over Gujarat. Buland Darwaza is considered to be the highest gateway in the world and is a significant example of the Mughal architecture. Continue your drive towards Agra.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

Head towards the last stop of your Rajasthan wildlife tour, the glorious Taj Mahal. The very famous TajMahal is an ivory-white marble tomb constructed on the south bank of the River Yamuna.

  Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.

    Travel Tips For Rajasthan Wildlife Tour


     

    Tips for Travel:

    • The best time to commence your Rajasthan wildlife tour is in the winter months of October-March.
    • Carry light clothes on your Rajasthan wildlife tour and specifically colours such as brown, olive green and khaki which merge with the surrounding. Refrain from wearing bright colours as they frighten the animals.
