Karnataka’s Coorg district is home to the outstanding scenic beauty called Abbey Falls. Numerous streams of Western Ghats combine and fall on huge boulders, creating the melodious and cascading falls. Water pool created below the falls further joins River Cauvery. The playful waters create soulful noise which radiates in all directions and creates a spellbinding contrast to the soothing ambiance. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best attractions of nature and leisure holiday packages in Coorg.

This natural tourist hotspot is enveloped amidst striking coffee estates and spice plantations. One can enjoy the cool environment engulfed in the misty clouds and immerse in the scenic views from the hanging bridge. Photography and a visit to an old temple dedicated to Goddess Kali would surely make your visit to Abbey Falls memorable. If you wish to trek here, do not forget to carry your trekking shoes.

Getting into the pool is not recommended especially during monsoons and winters. The water also contains leeches.
