Chikmagalur is righteously designated as the coffee capital of Karnataka. Coffee plantations and estates add a fabulous green shade to the region’s natural canvas. Connectivites

Road: Chikmagalur is accessible by road from Bangalore via Hassan through NH 48. Except a few parts, the road is in good condition. Coffee plantations in the region should be explored on foot to extract the best out of your trip.

Railway: Opened recently, the Chikmagalur Railway Station is about 3 km. from the city centre. Hire an auto-rickshaw or a taxi from the station and you can conveniently explore the coffee estates.

Airway: About 150 km. from the town is the Mangalore International Airport. It is recommended to hire a taxi from the airport to cover the remaining road trip.
