Lal Tibba is the highest peak and a lovely view point in the famous hill station of Mussoorie. It gives a panoramic view of the mountains and the holy shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath which can be viewed clearly using the powerful Japanese Telescope placed at the cliff edge. It also houses the signal towers of the Indian national TV channel of Doordarshan and All India Radio and also houses the Indian Military Camp.

The unexplored verdant beauty of the mountains of Lal Tibba is what makes it stand out from many other hill stations that are ruined by the mass tourism trails. Still retaining its pristine natural beauty and the wilderness, Lal Tibba also boasts of an exceptional flora and fauna including pine trees, conifers and Rhododendron amidst many British style bungalows, the erstwhile holiday homes of the Britishers as you enjoy a leisurely walk to Lal Tibba.

You can shop for souvenirs and knick knacks in the age old Sister Bazaar or savour delicious cinnamon waffles at Chard ukan. Lal Tibba is a great escapade from the hot and sultry summer in the plains and to enjoy a cozy holiday in the midst of natural finery.
