Overview

Jaipur Trip For 2 Days

The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur continues to pamper its royal legacy and the undying spirit of extending warm hospitality to its visitors. The city that was painted pink in the 1870s to welcome the then Prince of Wales, greets the present day guests with a similar zeal and zest. That’s why this Jaipur 2 day tour package is always in high demand as the highly enthusiastic heritage-lovers consider it once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore Jaipur’s timeless edifices with majesty written all over.

Be it the regal grandeur of hilltop forts or the fairy-world-inspired palaces, Jaipur carves a long-lasting impression on the minds of the spectators. Ditch the modern-day transport in the favour of the stately elephant and camel rides and you feel like a part of the royalty. Splurge on the tantalizing Rajasthani food served in traditional style or turn into a generous spender at the irresistibly colourful bazaars. This Jaipur trip for 2 days is enough to erect some enduring memories alongside your memory lane.

Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: From Delhi to Jaipur (250 km. in 4-5 hr.)

Jaipur tour package from Delhi for 2 days is an extremely convenient option because of the Pink City’s proximity with the national capital. Interestingly, Jaipur and Delhi form parts of the very popular tourist circuit called the Golden Triangle, the third nook of the triangle being Agra. Even if you are not from Delhi, starting Jaipur trip for 2 days from the capital is indeed a great idea.

Our tour representative would meet you at the airport/railway station or at your hotel or any other designated point. From there, we would drive you to Jaipur.

About Jaipur: Less than three centuries old and India’s first planned city, Jaipur is an epitome of the great Rajputana pride which is clearly evident from the lager-than-life architectural wonders dominating the cityscape. Even the chaotic streets and maddening crowds fail to discourage the visitors from exploring the royal legacy which is extravagant is every sense. There are forts, palaces, temples, museums, gardens and some atypical monuments that keep the guests absolutely enthralled throughout the Jaipur package for 2 days.

On Arrival, check in at the booked hotel and relax.

Later, we start the sightseeing tour visiting the top attractions like Hawa Mahal (open from 09:00 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.; entry fee INR 50/200 per Indian/foreigner). This red and pink sandstone facade resembling a honeycomb boasts of nearly 1,000 small windows with awe-inspiring intricate lattice work was built in 1799. Next on the Jaipur trip for 2 days is City Palace (open from 09:30 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. and from 07:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for night visit; entry fee INR 130/500 per Indian/foreigner for regular visit and INR 450/900 per Indian/foreigner for night visit). Built around 1730, the palace complex boasts of grand entrance arches, palaces, halls, courtyards, temples and a museum with notable royal exhibits.

Take a break from the palaces and visit an interesting attraction of Jaipur 2 day tour package – Jantar Mantar (open from 09:00 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.; entry fee INR 50/200 per Indian/foreigner). The astronomical observatory, built in 1734, features the world’s largest stone-made sundial and a number of other astronomical instruments for observing the celestial bodies.

Later, you may visit Chokhi Dhani, a must-visit star attraction of Jaipur tour package from Delhi for 2 days. Depicting the engaging rural Rajasthan culture, the place promises full platters of mouth-watering Rajasthani food along with activities like folk performance, puppet shows, camel rides and more.

Finally, get back to your hotel for the night stay.

Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing Continues – Departure To Delhi

On the second day of Jaipur trip for 2 days, get ready for another unforgettable rendezvous with the imperial city.

You would be excited to visit the remarkable Amber (or Amer) Fort (open from 08:00 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. and again from 07:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., entry fee INR 100/500 per Indian/foreigner for day trip and INR 100 per person for night time visit), which served as the original capital of the princely seat before Jaipur was founded.

Built in marble and sandstone, the fort flaunting a terrific mix of the Rajput and Islamic architectures rests on a hill of the Aravalli Range and boasts of beautiful palaces, courtyards, gardens, temples and massive gateways. The elephant ride (costs INR 1,000-1,200 for two) up to the fort is a thrilling one.

Later, you may visit Kanak Vrindavan Garden located in a valley at the foot of the Aravalli Hills. Adorned with marble decorations and lush green lawns, the place also has a temple and several fountains and was built as a royal recreational venue nearly 275 years ago.

If time is left during Jaipur package for 2 days, you can visit other top attractions like Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, Sisodia Rani Garden and Anokhi Museum. At the end, we drive you back to Delhi. On arrival, we transfer you to your hotel or railway station/airport as the Jaipur trip for 2 days ends.

I planned a South India tour from Chennai to Kochi. I asked from many different travel companies but I got the best and cheapest offer by 'Way to India'. That was two weeks travel plan. We visited so many wonderful places and we got enough time for some individual program too. In the first week we visited the historical places like temples, museums and some beaches. In the second week we visited amazing natural attraction. All happened at exactly fixed itinerary. We traveled with a comfortable panoramic mini bus and the bus driver (Mr. Ram) was very kind and talented who could manage a good restaurant for dinner and lunch every day. The recommended hotels were correct and better than the chosen category. The connecting with 'Way to India' was a great experience for us and Mr Mohit was very pleasant and flexible for our request. All in all believe that this was the best choice for traveling. I'm sure we'll go back in India again because we found many kind friends at there and we would like to organize travel again by 'way to India'. thanks for all you have done for us thank you so much

I am so delighted and grateful that I found Way to India. I was nervous about doing a trip by myself, as a young woman, in the Himalayas and it was important for me to find a trusted company to arrange my trip. I searched long and hard but once I spoke with Mohit at Way to India, I knew I found the perfect company. Every question I had or issue I needed help with was handled immediately, proficiently, with excellent service that really went above and beyond. All of the people connected with the company that I met or spoke with are extremely helpful, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The itinerary created was just perfectly tailored for what I wanted and was done with a lot of thought and care. They stayed connected with me through the entire trip to make sure everything was going well. Really, I did not have to worry or think about anything. I will use them every time I come back to India! I highly recommend to all my friends and family and to anyone who wants a memorable visit to India.   Aditi Banerjee

The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Travel Tips For Jaipur Trip For 2 Days

    Travel Tips:

Weather and Best Time: Jaipur itinerary 2 days tour can be best planned during winters season (November-March). It is during these months that the place experiences extremely pleasant weather and you can expect chilly nights as well. Summers (April-June) bring the unbearable heat, making sightseeing a difficult job. Monsoons (July-September) may bring some relief, though daytime temperatures continue to be high.

Things to Pack: A lot of cotton clothes and light woollens/warm clothes (only during winters) are recommended. To make sightseeing pleasant, make sure you carry caps/hats, umbrellas, sunglasses, sunscreens and other sun protection items. It is advised to wear long pants and full-sleeve shirts to avoid tanning. The walking tours inside the forts and palaces call for comfortable pairs of shoes. Important medications that you must pack are those to combat digestive system problems (if you are not habitual of eating spicy foods) and dust allergies (dust storms occur frequently in the region).

Things to Do: Apart from those mentioned in the Jaipur trip for 2 days package, you may also enjoy (on your own and depending on the time available) activities like:

    • Cycling to Nahargarh Fort
    • Jeep safari to explore the rural countryside
    • Hot air balloon riding
    • Sound and Light Show at Amer Fort (in Hindi and English, ticket cost INR 295 per head)
    • Communicate with elephants at Elefantastic Farm
    • Attend block painting workshops
    • Join a culinary tour

In addition, you must enjoy the street foods like Pyaaz ki kachori(at Rawat Mishthan, opposite Bus Stand) and Golgappe. Those having sweet tooth can anytime splurge on Kulfi Faluda, Mawa Kachori and of course, the very delectable Ghevar. Don’t miss a refreshing glass of lassi at the end.

    What to Shop?

When visiting Jaipur, make sure you have extra time, budget and bags for shopping. There are items like lac jewellery, kundan jewellery, gemstone jewellery, silver jewellery, sculptures made of marble, wood and stone, blue pottery items, leather items, block paintings and so on.
