The Natural History section exhibits India’s rich flora and fauns, including many birds, mammals, reptiles and other species. At present the artefacts are displayed in a new museum building designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Shri Balkrishnabhai Doshi. The museum was opened top the public in the year 1984.
