A part of the Vandalur Reserve Forest, this famous zoo is home to extremely diverse wildlife, consisting of Bengal tigers, white tigers, crocodiles, tortoises, lions, elephants, llamas, blackbuck, lion-tailed macaque, jackal, giraffe, brown bear and many more. The park is home to flightless birds like emu and cassowary and numerous indigenous and migratory birds. Aquariums, primate house, butterfly house, amphibian house, reptile house, Prehistoric Animal Park and many other sections of the park entertain the visitors. Lion safari, elephant ride, Otteri Lake bird watching, zoo exploration in battery-operated vehicles and strolling on walkthrough aviaries are the exciting activities. The park also house restaurant, canteen, milk parlour and other amenities. Warnings: Smoking, alcohol and plastic materials are completely banned. Don’t feed animals and maintain peace.
