One can enjoy the spellbinding views of Gopalswamy Betta, the highest peak in the park. Dry deciduous forests, moist mixed deciduous forests, shrublands and many other types of biomes constitute the forest area. Dominating trees found here include teak, sandalwood and bamboo. Jungle safaris in jeeps, min bus and on elephant are extremely enjoyable. One can also visit the adjoining wildlife reserves called Nagarhole National Park, Wayanad Sanctuary and Mudumalai National Park.
