By air: Cochin International Airport is about 27 km. from the beach. From the airport, one can choose among many possible routes to reach the beach by auto-rickshaw, taxi or ferry.
By rail: Cherai Beach is accessible from Aluva Railway Station (about 23 km. away) and Ernakulam Junction (about 28 km. away). Taxis and auto-rickshaws can be used for this purpose.
By road: Goshree Bridge from Ernakulam connects to the Vypin Island, making access to the beach much easier. Alternatively, one can take ferry from Cochin to the island and continue the journey further is local buses or auto-rickshaws.
