One of the most interesting tourist spots in Kasauli, Monkey Point (also famous as “Manki Point”)is the highest point in the town. Shaped like a foot, it is believed that when Lord Hanuman was coming back from the Himalayas after getting Sanjivani Booti, his foot touched the hills hence the shape.
Known for presenting a gorgeous view of the distant plains of Chandigarh and the Sutlej River, Monkey Point also houses a small Hanuman Temple. Famous for posing wonderful views, skipping monkeys, wonderful climate and calm atmosphere, Monkey Point is worth visiting for nature lovers.
Other nearby attractions includes Krishna Bhavan Mandir, Christ Church, Dharampur, Sunset Point, Kasauli Club, Old Gurkha Fort and Sabathu etc.

Road: State transport buses are available to reach Monkey Point from nearby cities of Himachal Pradesh. Deluxe and semi-deluxe buses are also available. The road condition is relatively good and provides convenient travel to the point.

Railway: Kalka Railway Station (located about 30 km.) is the nearest railhead to reach Monkey Point. The station connects Monkey Point with all major cities in India like Kolkata, Mumbai, Amritsar and Delhi.
