The village of Morni, situated on the mountainside, is the only hill station of Haryana. Morni hill station is a God bestowed blessing with undiscovered lands, beautiful lakes amidst mountains and hills, rich flora and fauna and to top it all, a salubrious weather. This place is amongst the secret unexplored destinations filled with numerous tourist attractions. Lush green environment, the exotic fauna and the quiet retreat into the arms of nature makes a traveller’s dream come true at Morni.

The alluring beauty of pine covered offshoot of Shivalik Range with extensive rare fauna has succeeded in making Morni a popular tourist destination. Named after a queen who ruled here, there are many places worth sightseeing in Morni, most important of which is the old fort believed to have belonged to Queen Morni.

There are no plush eating joints around the village of Morni. While out on trekking or sightseeing in Morni, it is advisable to carry some edibles and water along. However, in local shops one might find simple packaged food and breakfast. Haryana Tourism’s Mountain Quail offers a multi cuisine a la carte menu at reasonable price.

Morni is an adventure spot frequented by adventure lovers. To shop for souvenirs, antiques or necessity items you need to visit the neighbouring city. There are no shopping centres in this hill station.

  • A 58 km. journey from Morni will take one to the hill station of Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. This hill station is known for its picturesque beauty and is one of the most famous hill stations of India.
  • Chandigarh, the capital city of Punjab and Haryana, is at a distance of 41 km. from Morni. One can take a detour from the quiet life at Morni and step into this well planned commercial hub.
