Day-by-day itinerary
A carefully paced plan, day by day. Tap any day for the stay, meals and altitude detail.
The 5 days Rajasthan tour package starts with your arrival in Jaipur. Our tour representative would escort you from the airport/railway station to the booked hotel.
Rajasthan’s capital, India’s first planned city, a bustling metropolis and painted pink in 1876 to welcome the Prince of Wales – Jaipur is a dream destination for avid travellers.
Known worldwide for its resplendent heritage hotels and unfading royal legacy, it is among the top tourist destinations in the entire Asian continent. After a brief description of the tour from our representative, followed by some rest, we take you for city sightseeing.
The first attraction of the day would be City Palace – a grand royal complex with multiple gardens, pavilions, temples, courtyards and palaces and a museum featuring outstanding collections. As you walk in through the beautifully-arched gates, you feel like entering a fairy-tale world with grandeur written all over.
Explore the top attractions like Chandra Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Pritam Niwas Chowk and Govind Dev Ji Temple. Next, visit Hawa Mahal – a honeycomb-like structure radiating mesmerizing pink hue and flaunting more than 900 jharokhas (small windows).
Then, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar, which is an astronomical observatory featuring 19 instruments dating back to the 18th century.
Apart from the world’s largest stone sundial, the collection has instruments to measure coordinates, longitude, latitude, altitude, azimuth and other aspects of various celestial bodies.
If time allows, you are free to explore some other tourist attractions like Birla Mandir, Sisodia Rani Garden and Palace, Jaipur Zoo and Albert Hall Museum. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Spend another day of the 5 days Rajasthan tour package discovering many other fabulous places in Jaipur. Get up early as we take you for the exciting elephant rides to Amber Fort after breakfast.
The red sandstone and marble structure crowns a hill and has four sprawling courtyards. There are beautiful palaces, gardens and temples. The mosaics, sculptures, marble carvings, mirrored ceilings, coloured glasses and silver doors are the highlights that would keep your captivated throughout the tour.
Later, return to the main city and continue exploring the city of your own. You may choose to visit Johari Bazaar for kundan jewellery, gems and semi-precious stones, Bapu Bazaar for lac bangles and traditional mojari footwear, Tripolia Bazaar for exquisite textiles, Kishanpol Bazaar for wooden carvings and Nehru Bazaar for blue pottery.
Also, don’t miss enjoying the Rajasthani cuisines like daal batti churma, gate ki sabzi, mawa kachori, bajre ki roti and a lot more. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Head towards Pushkar after breakfast and check in at the booked hotel on arrival. Pushkar, rightly called the Tirthraj (the King of Pilgrimages), unveils around the holy Pushkar Lake and has rugged Aravalli Hills scattered in the backdrop.
It hosts the world’s only Brahma Temple and also the annual Camel Fair (October/November), attended by millions from across the globe. This 5 days Rajasthan tour package is incomplete without a holy dip in the lake which is believed to grant salvation.
After some rest, visit the Jagatpita Brahma Temple which is believed to be on the same spot where the creator of the universe, Lord Brahma, himself performed yagna.
Most of the temple, including Brahma’s idol, is made of marble and the red spire adds to its beauty. You may like to bath in the lake before entering the temple as it is considered to be an auspicious practice.
Later, pay a visit to the rose garden which boasts of roses in different colours and varieties. Rose products like rose water can also be purchased here.
If time allows, you may choose to visit Savitri Temple (located on a hilltop), Apteshvar Temple, Varaha Temple and various gurudwaras (Sikh shrines) in the town. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast in Pushkar, the 5 days Rajasthan tour package enjoys a twist as you leave for Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan.
It is here that the rugged Aravalli Hills don the sheets of lush green forests and become home to lakes, waterfalls and wildlife. Named after the mythological serpent Arbuda, the place also boasts of rich heritage, including beautiful Jain temples, Hindu temples, forts and the spiritual headquarters of Brahma Kumaris.
Start the journey from Pushkar early in the morning to reach Mount Abu on time and check in at the booked hotel on arrival.
After some rest, visit Dilwara Temples Complex which features 5 temples dedicated to different Jain Tirthankaras. The exquisite use of marble, grey sandstone and a variety of metals and the stunning carvings present a spellbinding magnificence everywhere at this place.
It is advised that you take bath (the temple authorities provide facilities for bathing) before praying at these temples.
Later, you may choose to visit the other attractions like Adhar Devi Temple, Shri Raghunathji Temple and Dattatreya Temple.
Enjoy the breathtaking sunset views before retiring to the hotel for night stay.
Get up early in the morning to enjoy an exciting boat ride on Nakki Lake after breakfast. Considered as a holy lake, it is believed to have been dug up with nails. Enjoy the mesmerizing panorama of green hills that spread all around the lake.
After this amazing experience, we leave for Udaipur. The erstwhile capital of Mewar Kingdom, Udaipur is known as ‘the Venice of the East’ for its striking lake system.
Apart from five spectacular lakes, it is known for its breathtaking palaces, temples and gardens as well as museums and galleries offering a glimpse into the royal culture.
On arrival, proceed to visit the top attractions (based on the availability of time). City Palace is a sprawling complex overlooking the charming Lake Pichola which also has many palaces and other structures on its islands.
Boating, especially during the sunset time, is one of the most hypnotic experiences one can have. Monsoon Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Jagdish Temple and many other tourist places are worth exploring.
At the end of the 5 days Rajasthan tour package, proceed to the airport or railway station to start your journey back to home.

Travel Tips:

Beware of the ‘Pushkar passport’ scam. Priests and touts force the tourists to accept flowers, blessing bands (called passports for entry to the city) and other items and ask for heavy donations in return. Don’t accept anything from anyone.
Pay attention to the presence of snakes at Savitri Temple in Pushkar.
You might wish to indulge into adventures like rock climbing and trekking at Mount Abu. So, pack your stuff accordingly.
ATMs at Mount Abu run out of the cash frequently. Make sure you carry enough cash.
Plastic bags are prohibited in Mount Abu.
Don’t fall into the fake gems scam in Jaipur. Scammers here take tourists to the secluded places, only to extract money in return to fake or no gems stones at all.
For the entire 5 days Rajasthan tour package, make sure to reach your hotel rooms before it gets dark. Most of the shops at these places begin to shut down and streets start to get deserted by 08:00 p.m.
