Day-by-Day Itinerary

On arrival at Srinagar Airport , you would meet our representative who would provide you assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Take rest for some time and later in afternoon leave for for 2 to 3 hours boat ride on Dal Lake in a colourful boat called "Shikara" .Enjoy the ride on lake, called Venice of India and also see the scenic extravaganza of Kashmir as you enjoy the profusion of colours in the paradise on earth. While returning visit the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from paper mache and walnut wood.

In the morning after breakfast you will visit Mughal Garden "Nishat" (The garden of Pleasure) and '' Shalimar'' (Abode of love). While returning visit a local Handicrafts emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, Shawls, Jewellery ornaments. After lunch proceed for the city tour visiting Hari Parbat Fort (also known as Koh-e-Maran) and Jamia Masjid, Monument of Medieval architecture etc. Later return back to the houseboat.

After a healthy breakfast, leave for a full day return excursion to Gulmarg, called as "Meadow of flowers". Gulmarg is credited with having the world's highest 18 hole golf course. Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdoor on a Cable Car Ride - Gondola.You may also go upto Aparwat where you may see the snow even in the early summer months of April to June. Later,return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at houseboat.

After breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Sonmarg.Drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). Upon arrival, you may enjoy a ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains almost round the year. Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Enjoy the full day in Sonmarg and in the evening return back to Houseboat.

After an early breakfast in the hotel, leave for full day return excursion to Pahalgham, called as "Valley of Shepherds". En-route visit the Avantipur Ruins of 9th century and Mattan temple complex. On arrival in Pahalgham, enjoy the nature and walk around the banks of river Lidder. If time permits, you may visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari.You may also take pony for a ride to the beautiful Baisaran Valley. Pahalgham is famous for some trekking routes also and is the base camp for Amaranth Pilgrimage. Return to Srinagar on time. Dinner & overnight stay at houseboat.

In the morning enjoy breakfast in the hotel and on time transfer to the airport to catch your flight for onward destination with happy memories.
