Board a flight to Delhi from Pune. On arrival at Delhi airport, we would pick you up and head directly for Shimla by car. The 7-8 hour journey takes one from the heavily polluted plains through the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, and finally into the state’s most famous tourist destination; Shimla.
Reach the hotel and rest to start a day to explore Shimla at its best. Shimla’s importance dates back to the British Raj in India, when it was appointed the nation’s summer capital. Its highlights include Grand British architecture, lush green trees in the form of pine, oak, and deodar, and of course, the perennially pleasant weather conditions.
The second day is all about getting to know Shimla better, and experiencing some amazing places nearby. The hill-station of Kufri is the first stop for the day. Located 13 km from Shimla, Kufri has a fair number of tourist attractions, with Mahasu Peak, Kufri Fun World, Chini Bunglow, and the Himalayan Wildlife Zoo being the most prominent of the lot.
