On the first day of your Leh Ladakh road trip by car, upon arrival at Chandigarh airport you will be directly transferred to your pre booked hotel. Relax for the rest of the day.

This morning after breakfast check out of the hotel. Our representative will pick you up and will take you to Manali. Manali is a hill station situated at an altitude of 2,050 m in Beas river valley. The landscape of Manali is breathtaking. One sees well-defined snowcapped peaks, the Beas river meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. Reach there and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at your pre booked hotel.

On the third day of your Leh Ladakh road trip by car, after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing in Manali. Visit the Hadimba Temple, dedicated to goddess Hadimba, wife of Bhim one of the five brothers of Mahabharata.Thereafter, drive onwards to Vashisht Kund a renowned place for its Hot water springs, the Mall road and the Van vihar. Later in the evening come back to hotel for overnight stay.

Today, as a part of your Leh Ladakh road trip by car, after breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed towards Sarchu, through Rohtang La (13,050 ft). Enroute visit Tandi and Jispa. Stopover for Lunch Break at Darcha Dangma. After Lunch drive to Sarchu through Baralacha La (16,020 ft). Arrive at Sarchu also known as Sir Bhum Chun. Sarchu is a major camp site for people traveling to Leh. Overnight stay at camp at Sarchu.

After breakfast we will leave for Leh, through Nakee la and Chang la 16,617 ft(la means mountain passes) . Lunch shall be at Pang. After Lunch continue your drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Tanglang pass has been claimed as world’s second highest motorable mountain. Arrive at Leh by evening. Overnight at your pre booked hotel.

Today on the 6th day of your Leh Ladakh road trip by car, leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.) Pangong is derivative of the Tibetan word Bangong CO meaning long, narrow and , enchanted Lake. This Lake’s one third parts lays In India and rest is in Tibet which is under the control of China. Overnight stay at Camp.

After Breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Hemis Monastery (Famous for Hemis Festival or Hemis Tsechu), Thiksey Monastery, a 12 storey complex and houses many items of Buddhist art such as stupas statues, wall painting and swords. Later, continue your sightseeing to Shey Palace located in Shey which is 15 Km south of Leh.It was considered as a summer capital of Ladakh in the past. Overnight at the hotel.

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley, a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley via Khardung La (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit the capital of Nubra by Afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. Overnight stay at hotel.

After Breakfast visit Diskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla. Overnight stay at your pre booked Hotel.

After Breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute visit Moon landscape, Lamayuru (The Oldest Monastery in Ladakh) and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Arrive at Kargil by evening. Overnight Camping at Kargil.

Today, on the second last day of your Leh Ladakh road trip by car, drive to Srinagar During this picturesque journey, you would be passing through Drass often known as “The Gateway to Ladakh”, the second coldest inhabited Place on earth. On the way, you would have spectacular views of Kargil War famous Peaks Tiger Hill and other Peaks. Arrive Srinagar by Evening. Overnight stay at houseboat.
