Welcome to Incredible India!! Upon arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, proceed to Agra. Agra is historic town of North India and is world famous for Taj Mahal. Upon arrival at Agra, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, visit Taj Mahal, symbol of love. Later visit Agra Fort and Sikandra (Emperor Akbar's tomb). In the evening, you can visit local markets in Agra. Here you can try Petha (sweets) or you can purchase some handicraft and leather items. Overnight stay at Agra.
After breakfast, first proceed to Fatehpur Sikri. Sikri was capital of Mughal Empire for a short span. In Sikri, visit Buland Darwaza (Grand Gate). Later proceed to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaiopur, check in at the hotel. In the evening, at around 7 pm, go to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort in Jaipur. Enjoy live entertainment and folk dances, followed by traditional dinner. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
After breakfast, go for city sightseeing of Jaipur. Visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Museum, Hawa Mahal (photo stop), Jal Mahal (photo stop). Later visit historical Amer fort from where you can have panoramic views of Jaipur and region. Here you can also enjoy an elephant ride. Later visit Sanganer village near Jaipur. This cosy village is famous for handicrafts and handmade paper factories. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
After breakfast, proceed to Pushkar via Ajmer. In Ajmer, visit famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Later proceed to Pushkar. Upon arrival at Pushkar, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, visit Pushkar Lake and Brahma temple, the only temple of Lord Brahma in the world. You can also visit fair ground and Pushkar town by a walking tour. Overnight stay at Pushkar.
After early breakfast, first proceed to Chittorgarh. Visit historical Chittod fort. From here you can get spectacular views of the region. Later proceed to lake city of Udaipur. Upon arrival at Udaipur, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After early breakfast, go for full day trip of Udaipur region. Visit historical Kumbhalgarh fort, Temples of Ranakpur and battlefield of Haldi Ghati. Back to Udaipur and overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, go for city tour of Udaipur. Visit City Palace and museum, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon ki Badi, Vintage car museum and other places of tourist interest. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at Udaipur. About Mewar Festival Location: In and around Udaipur, Rajasthan (Area: Bagore ki Haveli and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal) Time of Mewar Festival: March / April, Every year Main Attractions of Mewar Festival: Explore Rajasthani culture Get to know about Gangaur festival Cultural performances in the form of folk dance, folk music, drama, etc. Vibrant environment throughout the city Significance of Mewar Festival: Mewar festival is celebrated to welcome the arrival of spring. It coincides with Gangaur festival of Rajasthan. Women dress up in colourful traditional attire, with heavy jewellery and put mehndi to celebrate their joy. Women head for a procession and carry hand-made idols of Lord Vishnu and Gangaur to different parts of the city while dancing and cheering. The procession ends at Gangaur Ghat, Lake Pichhola where the idols are taken in special boats to immerse in water. This festival is celebrated to strengthen the bond of couples. Highlights of Mewar Festival: Once the religious part comes to an end, the second part of Mewar festival in Udaipur begins with cultural performances.
