First day of trip includes a visit to Little Rann of Kutch. In the afternoon, you can set out on exciting open jeep safaris along the deserts of the Little Rann of Kutch. During the safari, you can even see animals including Blue Bull, Wild-Ass, Desert Fox, desert snakes, Blackbuck and Wolf among others.
The trip to Bhuj on the second day includes visits to various places including Swaminarayan Temple, Aina Mahal Museum and Pragmahal Museum among others. You can also visit the Bhartiya Sanskriti Darshan Exhibition and Cenotaphs of Royal Family.
Enjoy and explore the unexplored wilderness and charm of the Banni and Pachcham regions along the edge of the Great Rann of Kutch. Make a visit to some of the tribal villages such as Visit Dhordo village, Bhirandiyara village, Ludiya village and Khavda village. Kalo Dungar and Dattatray Temple are the other attractions here. Later in the day, you can set out to White Rann to enjoy the magnificent sunset and the spectacular views of the Great Rann. You will be staying overnight at Dhordo/Hodka.
Day 4 trip takes you to the temple of Ashapura Mata, Mata no Madh. Proceed to Lakhpat where you can visit Lakhpat Fort, Gurudwara and a breathtaking black stone tomb of the famous saint Gosh Muhammad. The third most sacred lake of Narayan Sarovar is your next stopover. It is a highly revered pilgrim center for Hindus. You can also the beautiful Koteshwer Shiva Temple that stands on the sea coast. Overnight stay at Nakhatrana.
The trip to the coastal town Mandvi includes a visit to Vijay Villas Palace, the royal summer retreat and the massive Jain temple complex which consists of 72 different temples. A trip to an Organic Farm and the Mandvi ShipYard at Mandvi followed by beach fun at a private beach would top off the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, proceed to Ahmedabad where you will be dropped at airport or railway station.

The Rann Utsav starts in the month of November and goes on till February. The weather in these months is pleasant through the day and cool and chilly in the night.

Plan your trip in a way that you end up on the white sands on a full moon day. The magnificent moonshine on the white sands beneath your feet gives you a heavenly feeling.

You can also book Rann of Kutch festival packages for the month of January to witness kite flying festival alongside in Gujarat.

  • Staying in Tents: You must not miss out on living in tents and the traditional Bhongas that are extremely luxurious in this salt desert. Living in them gives you a feel of its natural splendor and the glorified natural beauty of Kutch.

  • Carry your woolen wears. The nights can get really chilly and occasionally the temperature goes below zero degrees Celsius.
  • Remember that you are pretty close to the national border and hence the security measures are very severe here. Do not wander off far from your group. 
  • Carry your identity card with you all the time. You may need it anywhere due to the strict security measures.
  • The itinerary also includes visits to temples. Make sure to maintain a code of conduct and dress appropriately to avoid hurting sentiments of the localities in Bhuj.
