On your arrival at Bhuj you will be visiting Swaminarayan Temple, Aina Mahal Museum, Pragmahal Museum, Bhartiya Sanskriti Darshan Exhibition & Cenotaphs of Royal Family. Overnight stay at the hotel
Set out on a village tour and explore the Banni and Pachcham regions and the fringes of Great Rann of Kutch. Your visit will cover Dhordo village, Bhirandiyara village, Ludiya village and Khavda village apart from the Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) and Dattatray Temple. The next stopover is White Rann where you can enjoy the spectacular glimpses of the Great Rann and Sunset. Overnight stay at Dhordo/Hodka.
Day 3 attractions of Rann of Kutch tour package include a visit to the famous temple of Ashapura Mata, Mata no Madh, unique Gurudwara and beautiful black stone tomb of saint Gosh Muhammad, Lakhpat fort. Also visit Narayan Sarovar, the third most sacred lakes in Hindu religion and the Koteshwer Shiva Temple before returning to Nakhtrana for overnight stay.
On the second last day of your Rann of Kutch tour package, visit the pretty coastal town Mandvi and the summer retreat of the royal family, Vijay Vilas Palace. Other tourist attractions included in this circuit include a visit to the massive Jain temple complex comprising of as many as 72 temples, shipyard at Mandvi and an organic farm. In the evening, you can spend some leisure time at a private beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Visit Bhuj and stop over at Bhujodi Village for shopping. Later you would be dropped at airport or railway station.

Permits: As the Rann of Kutch is located close to the India-Pakistan border, you must obtain a permit to visit the area. It would cost INR 100 per person and INR 50 per car. Carry an ID proof (original and a photocopy). Foreign tourists must carry their passports.

Best Time: Summers (late March – June) are extremely hot (with day temperature reaching 50 degrees Celsius) and humid. The region receives scanty rainfall from July to September. October marks the beginning of winters which last up to early March. The best time to choose Rann of Kutch tour packages is from November to February). Please note that winters (especially at night) can be harsh with temperature dropping to 2 degree Celsius.

Plan Rann of Kutch tour packages during RannUtsav (November-February) when the fairy-tale white salt desert turn into a kaleidoscope of colours. During the festivity, activities like para motoring, hot air ballooning, camel and horse rides, jeep safaris and camping on the white canvas glittering under the moonlight are extremely engaging.   • Rann of Kutch tour packages take you to adesert area. Make sure you keep yourself hydrated (carry enough water and juices) and protected (sunscreens, sunglasses,umbrellas, hats).

  • To visit the Indo-Pak border, written permission must be obtained from the BSF.
