On arrival at Bhopal / Jabalpur railway station or airport, you will drive down to Pachmarhi via beautiful meandering roads. Pachmarhi is a quaint hill station that is set on Mahadev hills of Satpura ranges. Once you reach the hotel, check in and relax for the rest of the evening. This first day of the Pachmarhi tour package will be at leisure for you to settle down and unwind. We recommend you to visit the nearby shopping arcades and get done with souvenir shopping today. Pachmarhi is a shoppers’ paradise for all those looking for unique yet creative design work. Several items are made by the Bastar and Gond tribes of the region. These include exquisite bamboo and canopy work, baskets and hunting and agricultural hunting tools. Moreover, thesemarket placesoffer several vegetable-dyed and stone-crush colour paintings as well. Do not forget to buy honey and ayurvedic medicines which contributes in making the hill station extremely popular. Spend the overnight at the hotel in Pachmarhi.
The second day of your Pachmarhi tour package commences with a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel followed by a full day sightseeing expedition. Start by visiting the Pandav caves first. It is a cluster of 5 hilltop caves that are presumed to have been carved for more than 1,000 years ago. There is also a formal garden below open to tourists for an outing. Next, see the HandiKhoh (open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., no entry fees). It is a huge ravine with a chunky woodland and a cliff that runs 300 feet below. It is known to have a connection with Lord Shiva and is associated with myths and blessings from the Lord himself. Then, head to ApsaraFall (7 a.m. to 4 p.m., no entry fees) Translated to fairy pool, it is a small waterfall of about 30 feet height that flows down creating a naturally formed pool. Lastly, visit Dhoopgarh (open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., no entry fees). It is one of the highest peaks in the Satpura range and the sunset view from here will leave you enthralled. After an exciting day, return back to the hotel for a well-deserved good night’s sleep.
On the third day of your Pachmarhi tour package, start early with a healthy breakfast and move out for some more sightseeing. First, visit the Bee Fall (open 9a.m. to 5p.m., entry is free and open all days for tourists) Among all the waterfalls in the vicinity, Bee Fall is a prevalent one and is deep below the valleys. Greatness lies in the waters of a perennial stream which flips down 35 meters, giving a remarkable sight to all nature lovers. You can head to Bee Fall by driving in a jeep up to some distance then lead on foot. Next, head to Bison Lodge museum. It is home to numerous pictures, maps, models, graphs and samples of the fauna and flora. This museum also houses an open-air theatre that plays short films and presentations on wildlife. Taste some local delicacies before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast on this day of your Pachmarhi tour package, you will cover the remaining places to visit in this tranquil hill town. First, head to see the Chouragrah Temple (open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., no entry fees) It is a popular tourist retreat and houses the most esteemed shrines of Lord Shiva. You need to climb 1250 steps to reach the main temple and it is advisable to start descending by 3 p.m. as it starts to get dark and difficult in the evening. It is believed that Lord Shiva left his Trishul here while escaping from the demon. Next, visit the nearby Jata Shankar (open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., no entry fees) and Baba Mahadev Temple (open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., no entry fees). The Jata Shankar is a natural cave and has a natural Shiva lingam underneath the shadow of a gigantic rock. The Baba Mahadev Temple on another hand is where it is believed that Lord Vishnu killed the demon. Do not forget to take a holy dip in the pond set inside the nearby cave. Enjoy the picturesque views and treat your stomach to appetizing food. Spend the night at the hotel in Pachmarhi.
Finishing your last breakfast on this Pachmarhi tour package, you make your way back to the airport. Unfortunately, this amazing hill station holiday tour comes to a halt here. Carrying all the memories and heart-warming experiences, you head to the airport and catch a flight back home.
