A beautiful manmade lake located close to the national capital Delhi, Badkhal Lake is a mesmerizing tourist spot. With the majestic backdrop of Aravalli Hills, the lake enjoys picturesque settings and is surrounded by lavish gardens and forest areas. The lake is extremely popular among bird-watchers who get to explore many species of local and migratory birds here.
 
An array of activities that can be enjoyed at the lake includes boating, kayaking, canoeing and picnicking. Boats and yachts are available for private hiring to enjoy exciting rides on the lake. Cottages, saunas, restaurants and many other facilities have mushroomed up around this tourist hotspot.
 
Annual spring flower festival is another highlight of the place. One gets to explore many different varieties of colourful flowers during the event.

Road: Faridabad is located on National Highway 2 and is well-connected to Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and many cities of Haryana by road. Regular bus services operate between the city and other destinations. Delhi ISBT is only about 36 km. away. Taxis and cabs can also be hired from various destinations to access the lake conveniently.

Railway: Faridabad has three railway stations and the one nearest to the make is located about 7 km. away. Local trains run between Faridabad and Delhi. There are trains to and from other cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. Taxis, cabs and autos can be availed at the station to reach the lake.

Airway: Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi is the closest airport about 38 km. away. Excellent air connectivity can be enjoyed from all major airheads of the world.
