Sprawling in about 73 km. Lidder River is a delightful treat to adventure lovers. Flowing through the lovely town of Pahalgam, this river provides a wonderful platform for visitors in love with trekking, white water rafting and angling.  
Noted as one of the important tributaries of the Indus River, this river gets its name from the nearby scenic Lidder Valley. In order to refresh their mind and relax their body, people from around the world look forward to visit Lidder River at least once a year.
Popular as one of the most interesting and stunning tourist attraction in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, Lidder River is best for water-sport activities. If you want to try hands on angling, one needs to carry the equipments from Srinagar.
Other than this, one can enjoy beauty of the nearby Kolahoi Glacier, Sonamarg and a tourist village Aru.

Airway: Srinagar International Airport (about 93 km.) is the nearest airport to reach Lidder River. Taxi service (both prepaid and post-paid) is available from outside the airport. Connecting flights from Delhi are available for tourists.
