Known for its length and unadulterated beauty, Muzhapilangad Beach is perfect and safe for swimmers. Stretching across four kilometres, this beach is the largest drive-in beach in Asia. Outlined by black rocks, it protects the beach from strong currents. 
The beach is heaven for adventure lovers; visitors can enjoy thrilling activities like parasailing, water bike ride, microlite flights, catamaran ride and power boating and paragliding etc. Young visitors can enjoy car stunts performed on the beach.
Through Muzhapilangad, one can also capture the gorgeous view of the Dharmadam Island or the Green Island. Calm waters, glittering sands, swaying palm trees and many eateries selling Malabar cuisines, Muzhapilangad Beach is although less explored, it is definitely worth visiting. 

Connectivites

Road: State transport and private buses run from nearby cities to Kerala. The road condition is extremely good. Government buses are also available from Mangalore. The ticket price is not high. In fact, buses are cheapest medium to travel from nearby cities to Muzhapilangad Beach.

Railway: Thalassery Railway Station (located about 16 km.) is the nearest railhead to visit Muzhapilangad Beach. Frequent buses are available from the station to the beach. Tourists can also book a cab from the station for convenient travelling.
