Day 01: Kochi
Welcome to Kerala, the God's own Country!!
Upon your arrival at Kochi, our representative would greet and welcome you and vehicle
would take you to your hotel. Check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, leave
for city tour of Kochi.
Kochi ,one of the most important ports of south India is located along the Arabian
Sea. It is a commercial hub of sate of Kerala.
Kochi has a rich historic past in which Arabs, British, Chinese, Portuguese rulers and travelers have left their indelible marks.
In sightseeing tour of Kochi, visit a Jewish Synagogue-(closed on all Saturdays
& Jewish holidays) in Jew Town, Mattancherry Dutch Palace - (closed on Fridays &
public holidays). Also visit St. Francis Church - (closed for visitors on Sundays
from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs.) the oldest European Church in India.Also see the Chinese
Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin.

Day 02: Kochi - Munnar (127 kms/ approx 4 hours)
Today after a healthy breakfast depart to Munnar,the misty mountain town. A picturesque
journey brings you to hill station of Munnar, located in Western Ghats. Munnar is
famous for its tea plantations, mystique valleys and rich species of flora and fauna.
Upon arrival at Munnar, check in at the hotel. Rest of time is at your disposal
to explore this beautiful destination.

Day 03: Munnar
After sumptuous breakfast, enjoy the local sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Mattupetty
dam, Munnar town, church and tea estates.You can also visit Eravikulam Wildlife
sanctuary ,home to Nilgiri Tahr.

Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady (124 kms/ approx 4 hours)
After breakfast, leave for your next destination, Thekkady. Thekkady is famous for
green spice planations and also for one of the most fascinating wildlife sanctuary
of Periyar.
Upon arrival at Thekkady, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed at the
hotelleave for local sightseeing of Thekkady. Visit beautiful spice plantations
around and other places of tourist interest.

Day 05: Visit to Periyar wildlife sanctuary / Thekkady - Alleppey (148Kms / approx
5 hours)
Early in the morning, at around 6 am, leave for a visit to Periyar wildlife sanctuary.
Enjoy boat ride at prestine waters of lake Periyar (boat ride at own cost). You
can see wide a variety of animals and birds in this sanctuary.
After visit to sanctuary reach back hotel. After having your breakfast, proceed
for, Alleppey,the Venice of South India.
Upon arrival at Alleppey, check in at your resort.
Alleppey situated on the banks of Vembanad lake - is the gateway to the backwaters
of Kerala
Enjoy in house facilities at your resort or indulge in spa treatments. You can also
enjoy a boat ride in backwaters.

Day 06: Alleppey - Kovalam (175kms/ approx 5 hours)
After your breakfast, transfer to Kovalam.
Kovalam is one of the most beautiful & sought after beach destination in Kerala.
Upon your arrival at Kovalam, check in at the hotel. After relaxing a while, visit
beaches in and around Kovalam.Enjoy the water sports and other leisure activities
on the beach.

Day 07: Kanyakumari and Thiruvanantapuram excursion (100 Km / Approx 2 hrs. one way)
After having your breakfast, you would be leaving for an excursion tour of Thiruvanantapuram
and Kanyakumari.
Thiruvanantapuram capital of Kerala and is famous for its temples and architecture.
Visit the famous Shri Padmanabhaswami Temple (please note that it is mandatory to
wear saree for ladies and dhoti for gentlemen).
Later proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India. Tiny town
located on confluence of Indian ocean, Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal ,Kanyakumari
is always full of devotees and tourists. In Kanyakumari, visit Kumari Mata temple
and Vivekananda Rock. After having stunning views of sunset at Kanyakumari, return
back to Kovalam.

Day 08: Departure from Kovalam
After experiencing the green mountains, rich wildlife, prestine backwaters and golden
beaches, it's time to say good bye to the vibrant Kerala.
After breakfast, transfer to Thiruvanantapuram or Kochi airport or railway station,
as per your onward connection.
