Mysore Palace

Grey granite and pink marble lend spectacular beauty to Mysore Palace, the most popular attraction in the city. Astonishing architecture of the palace, which rests amidst a beautiful garden, is truly fascinating and so are the features like marble figurines, inlaid ivory work, beautiful paintings and so on. Don’t miss the mesmerizing view of the illuminated palace in the evening.

Jagmohan Palace

Well-known for its art gallery that exhibit the work of some of the eminent Indian artists. Other popular palaces worth visiting in the city are Lalitha Mahal Palace, Jayalakshmi Vilas, Karanji Mansion and Cheluvamba Mansion.

Brindavan Gardens

For sightseeing in Mysore, there is no better place than these gardens, known for their lush green lawns, beautiful fountains and sunset views.

Mysore Zoo

Scenic backdrops of Chamundi Hills and presence of animals from more than 40 countries make it another exciting tourist attraction in the city. Bengal tigers, white tigers, elephants, Himalayan black bear, African rhino, gorillas are among the prime attractions.

Folk Lore Museum

Depicting the riches of Karnataka arts, the museum boasts of exhibits like costumes, crowns, masks, puppets, dolls, musical instruments, religious objects and so on. The city has other popular museums like Wax Museum, Rail Museum and Regional Museum of Natural History.

Chamundi Temple

Dedicated to Goddess Chamundeswari, the presiding deity of Mysore, the temple is located on Chamundi Hills and is a popular pilgrimage site. Other temples in the city include Srikanteswara Temple, Trinesvaraswamy Temple and Lakshmiramana Temple.

Tourists also love to visit St. Philomena’s Church, Karanji Kere Lake, Oriental Research Institute and Happy Man Park. Yoga is a popular activity in the city and there are many yoga and meditation centres you can visit. If possible, visit the city during Dussehra (Mysore Dasara) celebrations in September or October to be a part of the magnificent celebrations.

Thanks for arranging such a wonderful trip. We all had a great time in Manali and Shimla. All are very happy about it. The trip was comfortable, vehicle was good, Mr Mishra ji was very friendly and helpful, always ready to start any time according to our convenience. It’s because of him that we went to Naldehra in Shimla and had a nice pony ride & enjoyed much inspite of all our tiredness.

Regarding stay, stay was good in Manali at Hotel Monal, room was spacious and good, view was awesome and food was great...staffs were helpful though things were a bit unorganized. Hotel Prestige was excellent.

Overall we had an excellent trip, thanks to you and entire WaytoIndia team.

We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Rajasthan. Though it was a very tight schedule, everything was arranged for us by the fabulous team at Way to India. I'd like to especially mention, Gopal, who was with us almost every step of the way, making sure no stone is left unturned in making the trip something we will always cherish. He very patiently helped plan out the trip from route, to transportation, to hotel bookings etc. Thank you so much Gopal!!

Our driver, Sunil Sharma, was very helpful and cooperative and took us to all the interesting spots, the car was in top condition and always impeccably clean.

The hotels we stayed at were good. Ankur Resort was great, we enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. I'd like to especially mention Sunil at the hotel restaurant who was very sweet and provided great service at all meals. Kudos Sunil, keep it up!! Horizon Hotel was very good too, being centrally heated it was of great comfort in this chilly weather. Again, the service was superb, though the complimentary breakfast could be improved.

Rest assured that we will plan our trip through Way to India next time too!!!
