Lohagarh Fort built in the early 18th century by Jat rulers is valued as one of the strongest fort ever built in the history of India. It endured repeated attempts of conquests by the British.

The Government Museum, inside the Lohagarh fort displays a rich collection of archaeological assets of Bharatpur and other neighboring areas. The  exhibits of the museum includes sculptures, weapons, paintings, manuscripts and zoological specimens dating back to the 1st to the 19th century AD, found during the excavation of old villages.

Maharaja Suraj Mal erected the Deeg Fort, in 1730 AD. It served as the capital of Jat rulers in the 18th century. Inside the fabulous premises of the fort, houses the gorgeous palace on the water body, the Deeg Water Palace.

Bankebihari Temple, nested in the centre of the city, is one of the most famous temples in India. Sprawling across vast land is the holy abode of Lord Krishna. It is believed that a visit to the place fulfills all the dreams of the devotees.
