Sightseeing in Coorg offers a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, tranquillity along with breath taking views of nature. Coorg has a lot on its palette for tourists be it camps, forts, sanctuaries, temples, falls, rivers or scenic spots. Some of the must see places in Coorg include the following:
Nagarhole National Park
Nagarhole National Park

It is also known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park spread over 643 square km. Located between Coorg and Mysore it houses different species of flora and fauna.

Dubare Elephant Camp
Dubare Elephant Camp

The camp is located near Madikeri and is famous for elephant training. Besides Asiatic elephants, it houses a host of other animals as well. 

Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary
Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary

Located in Somwarpet taluka, it is one of the 21 wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka and well known as important bird sanctuary in the country. 

Bhagamandala
Bhagamandala

Situated at the confluence of Cauvery and Kanika Rivers, with another River Suloyothi believed to be flowing underneath hidden, it is a sacred place for Hindus. It is also known as the Pryag of the South. 

Omkareshwara Temple
Omkareshwara Temple

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple was built in 1820 by Linga Rajendra in Mahamedan architecture.

It is the holy tomb of Hazarat Sufi Sayeed and Sayeed Hassan Shakab Halramir.

Paddi Igguthappa Temple

·      Famous for its steep stairs andsquare shaped architecture, it is a holy place for Hindus.

Gaddige

It is the tomb of Raja Virajendra.

Bylakuppe
Bylakuppe

Situated on state highway 88, it is the second largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet. The area is dotted with monasteries. 

Cauvery Nisargadhama
Cauvery Nisargadhama

It is created by a cluster of islands formed by Cauvery River and is a favoured picnic spot.

Iruppu Falls
Iruppu Falls

A fresh water cascade, the fall originates from the Lakshmana Tirtha River, a tributary of Cauvery River. Visitors can also proceed to Brahmagiri from here.

Abbi Falls
Abbi Falls

Abbi Falls is located around 8 km. from Madikeri and is flanked by a host of coffee growing fields and spice estates.

Mallali Falls
Mallali Falls

Located at the foot of the Pushpagiri it is the most beautiful fall in Coorg.

Madikeri

The hill station Madikeri in Coorg District is well known for its falls, temples, and trekking sites. Madikeri Fort, originally built by Madduraja and rebuilt by Tipu Sultan naming it as Jaffarabad is also worth a visit.

Major attractions of the town are Beelur Golf Club with lush green golf course and Malemalleshwara Betta famous for Shivratri festival.
