Apple Orchard

Apple cultivation is something that just cannot be missed when visiting Kotgarh. Its vast apple belts, spread across acres of land, produce apples that are transported all across the country and also to abroad. This cultivation was started by an American missionary, Samuel Stokes. Kotgarh Valley simply looks stunning when the orchards are filled with luscious red apples. You can also catch glimpses of Kullu valley and the snow clad Himalayas. 

St.Mary’s Church
St.Mary’s Church

Built in 1843, this beautiful church at Kotgarh is known to be one of the oldest churches in India. Counted among the top attractions of Kotgarh, it is within the compound of Gorton Mission School, houses many orchards and a small graveyard.

Parmjyotir Temple
Parmjyotir Temple

Situated at a distance of 4 km. from Kotgarh, this temple was built by Stokes in the Pahari architectural style post his conversion to Hinduism.
