St. Mary’s Church
St. Mary’s Church

This Roman Catholic Church was constructed in 1896 by a British officer. This ancient church is very artistically designed and is located on the Mall Road. The church no longer conducts any services and is now turned into one of the tourist attractions of Lansdowne.

Bhulla Tal
Bhulla Tal

‘Bhulla’ is the local term for ‘younger brother’ and this artificial lake is commemorated to the young Garwali soldiers who laid down their lives in wars. There is a very beautiful garden with fountains near this lake. People have a fun time boating in this lake. 

Tip-in-top
Tip-in-top

As the name suggests, it is a tip in the top of a ridge near the St Mary’s Church. From this point you can view the expanse of the Shivalik hills. It is a must visit places at Lansdowne.

Lovers Lane
Lovers Lane

This is an enthralling pathway lined by trees and you can feel the cool air in your face. It eventually leads you to the Tip-in-top. During pre-independence period, this was an exclusive trail for the British.

Regimental Museum
Regimental Museum

This museum gives a peek into the history of Garhwali Rifles. This museum is named after a brave soldier Darwan Singh Negi, who fought for British India.
