The Rock garden is made of recycled and discarded materials like broken bangle pieces, plastic cans, empty tins, auto tyres and other waster items and is designed by the master sculptor Padmasree Neck Chand Saini, who is also world famous for his rock garden in Chandigarh, which attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world.

A well landscaped garden, which is also known as the Vrindavan of Kerala has well-manicured lawns, colourful flower beds and a wide variety of flowering plants and trees. The fish shaped aquarium is very popular among tourists. The ropeway is another popular tourist attraction here. It ferries tourists in cable cars on an aerial tour of the park, offering panoramic views of the ghats. The huge rock sculpture of ‘Yakshi’ or demon, created by the ace sculptor of Kerala, Kanai Kunhiraman that has hit the headlines is another attraction of the garden. A toy train ride along the garden and a boating trip along the lake are some of the highlights of this garden.

A small Japanese garden, complete with a hanging bridge across the river is another tourist attraction.

It has an impressive portfolio of life-like models of plants and flowers made from embroidery colour threads by hand and arranged in an indoor glass chamber.
