Panipat Museum

Dedicated mainly to the three Battles of Panipat, the museum has interesting exhibits in the sections like history, archaeology, art and craft, sculptures, inscriptions, arms and antiques. Coins, pottery, statues, weapons and many other art efacts collected from different regions can be explored here.

Devi Temple

One of the must visit places at Panipat, the temple is the seat of Panipat’s presiding Goddess. A large tank is the main highlight of this place.

Ibrahim Lodhi Tomb

The burial place of one of the warriors of the First Battle of Panipat, it is a worthwhile spot to visit.

Qalandar Tomb

The tomb belongs to Bu-Ali-Shah Kalandar who was a great poet. The place is visited by people of all faiths and religions.

Kabuli Bagh

A good place for sightseeing in Panipat, this garden is famous for its mosque and a large tank.

Kala Amb

Named after a black mango tree, the place is a memorial for the Maratha soldiers who participated in the Third Battle of Panipat.

Samadhi Sthal of Hemu (probably the most popular local ruler), the historic Salar Gunj Gate and Shri Ram Sharnam spiritual centre are some of the other tourist places.

Thanks for arranging such a wonderful trip. We all had a great time in Manali and Shimla. All are very happy about it. The trip was comfortable, vehicle was good, Mr Mishra ji was very friendly and helpful, always ready to start any time according to our convenience. It’s because of him that we went to Naldehra in Shimla and had a nice pony ride & enjoyed much inspite of all our tiredness.

Regarding stay, stay was good in Manali at Hotel Monal, room was spacious and good, view was awesome and food was great...staffs were helpful though things were a bit unorganized. Hotel Prestige was excellent.

Overall we had an excellent trip, thanks to you and entire WaytoIndia team.

We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Rajasthan. Though it was a very tight schedule, everything was arranged for us by the fabulous team at Way to India. I'd like to especially mention, Gopal, who was with us almost every step of the way, making sure no stone is left unturned in making the trip something we will always cherish. He very patiently helped plan out the trip from route, to transportation, to hotel bookings etc. Thank you so much Gopal!!

Our driver, Sunil Sharma, was very helpful and cooperative and took us to all the interesting spots, the car was in top condition and always impeccably clean.

The hotels we stayed at were good. Ankur Resort was great, we enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. I'd like to especially mention Sunil at the hotel restaurant who was very sweet and provided great service at all meals. Kudos Sunil, keep it up!! Horizon Hotel was very good too, being centrally heated it was of great comfort in this chilly weather. Again, the service was superb, though the complimentary breakfast could be improved.

Rest assured that we will plan our trip through Way to India next time too!!!
