Sightseeing in Phawngpui can be enjoyed by trekking or hiking on the peak. Even the first-time trekkers can easily cover the trekking trail. The top of the peak offers marvellous views of the whole of the region, especially the vales and valleys. Rock climbing and camping are other thrilling activities worth enjoying at this place.

 Various parts of the park are the must visit places at Phawngpui. If visiting in the start of the year, you will be enchanted to see the blossoming orchids and rhododendrons. Many never-seen-before varieties of plants and trees in different colours can be discovered. Most spotted wild attractions of Phawngpui include tigers, leopards, barking deer, hoolock gibbon, rhesus macaque, serow and goral among many others. One may also find some of the rarest butterfly species in the park. 

The peak on its western side has this majestically beautiful cliff that offers amazing views. Though many believe that the cliff is haunted, it is a great experience to view a steep cascading fall from here.
