Ghoghla Beach
Known as one of the cleanest and largest beaches of Diu, Ghoghla Beach provides the best opportunity to enjoy water-sport activities like swimming, surfing, parasailing, sunbathing, fishing etc. The glittering sands and cool atmosphere entices both national and international tourists.
Jallandhar Beach
Located at a distance of 1 km. from Diu town, Jallandhar beach is surrounded by an interesting mythological belief/history. The beach got its name from the Jallandhar Shrine located close to the beach. The shrine is speckled with a dome house; a stone carved face of demo Jallandhar who was beheaded by Lord Krishna.
Gangeshwar
Located about 3 km. from Diu, the Gangeshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva positioned near the sea shore close to Fudam Village. The temple has five shivlinga reclining among the rocks, which is also worshipped by the crystal clear sea waves.
Diu Fort
Among the many attractive tourist places in Diu, Diu fort holds prominent position in the city. Constructed in the 16th century, the fort stands close to the island and provides spectacular view of the sea.
St. Thomas Church
A church cum museum, St. Thomas Church was constructed in 1598. The church was transformed into the Diu Museum by the local authorities. Decorated with statues, idols, wooden carvings, and other ancient items make it one of the most attractive places to visit in Diu.
