It is an original Naga settlement perched on hillock 1500m above Kohima. Known to be one of the largest villages in the country, it has traditional houses, a granary, a trough to brew beer and an intricate doorway. The houses sport crossed horns on the gables and showcases life as it existed centuries ago.

This hill top memorial built in the memory of over ten thousand soldiers who became martyrs while defending the country against the Japanese invasion is another important milestone of the city.
