One of the must visit places at Mamit, this wildlife sanctuary is home to leopard, bison, wild boar, sloth bear, gibbon, deer and many other animals. Bird watchers can also visit the place to explore some wonderful avifauna like great Indian hornbill, jungle fowl, emerald dove and peacock.

Sightseeing in Mamit District brings one to this site of an ancient civilization. Apart from a mound like structure of bricks and other remains, the place is also popular for many heart-warming lakes.

Home to unbound teak plantations, the place is a small hill station with dense forests in its surroundings and offering good scenic beauty.

Mizoram is home to many interesting caves and Pukzing in Mamit is the largest in the lot. According to the legend, the cave was carved using a hair pin and is an exciting place to be at.

Mamit hosts some amazing festive celebrations, some of them being Mim Kut, Pawl Kut, Chapchar Kut, Thalfavang Kut and Christmas. It is a treat to watch the local folk dance performances like Chailam, Khuallam, Sarlamkai and Cheraw.
